Back in March, AT&T announced the arrival of Acer Iconia Tab A501, but in reality, they actually mean the 3G model of the Acer Iconia Tab A500. And now, it seems like this Android slate will be heading to the FCC!

Fortunately, this Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet DID pass through the FCC and is sporting 850/1900 bands for the AT&T network. It will be packed with HSDPA and HSUPA, but there will not be HSPA+.

The exact release date and pricing of this tablet is still unknown, but it does look like Acer wants to bump the Android 3.0 to 3.1 soon, before the actual release of the Acer Iconia Tab A501! This is definitely getting a lot of Acer fans excited, so keep your eyes on the store shelves before the tablets are all gone!
