Virgin Mobile have decided to give its prepaid customers a “true Android experience” from now on which means you will have no proprietary shell sitting with the new Motorola Triumph handset. The handset will of course come with a few bits of Virgin bloatware but will also have Android 2.2.

The MOTOBLUR will still be foisted on pay-monthly customers who buy a Photon 4G or XPRT from Sprint. Are any of you interested in either of these phones? I wonder what add ons that will be on the phones. Do you think this will be a hit in the Android phones?

Nice that the company is reaching out to their prepaid customers. Too bad I’m not ready to switch my phone. Not sure it’ll be a hit but who knows, right.
