Today at Computex 2011, ASUS is expected to reveal a mysterious new device that will “breaks the rules” and be a phone and tablet at the same time. Another update reveals a recent US and Europe trademark filing for the name “Padfone.” There may possibly be a connection here…
That’s pretty much all we’re getting for now, at least until ASUS’s announcement during Computex sometime between May 30th - June 4th that the computer expo will be happening.
Very intriguing, I wonder if it will be sort of how the Atrix 4G is and arrive with a laptop dock. Or will it be more tablet than phone, with the choice to name it Padfone vs. Fonepad…I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
