Android devices have proven to be one hot commodity. After all, Android devices rank supreme in the mobile market and it’s no surprise, given how awesome this OS is. Android is looking to keeping its smoking hot streak alive throughout the summer, so check out some of the hottest Android devices for the summer!

HTC EVO 3D
The successor to the original HTC EVO 4G from Sprint. It will have 3D capabilities as well as a dual-core processor. Look for it to have a 4.3-inch S-LCD display, dual 5MP rear cameras for 3D, 1.3 MP front facing camera, and 4GB of internal storage, amongst others. The OS will be Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.0

Samsung Galaxy S II
If you thought the Samsung Galaxy S was amazing, then be prepared to be blown away by the Galaxy S II. It has not only a dual-core processor and large, high resolution display, but it has two high quality cameras. It has already been released in Korea, but just wait until it comes out in the US (which I’m hoping is soon). You’ll be switching from your iPhone to the Galaxy S II (just kidding, half way).

Samsung Droid Charge
This bad boy phone was originally dubbed Samsung 4G LTE Smartphone, but finally got a real name a few weeks ago. It features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLEDPlus screen, a 1.3 front-facing camera, 8MP rear camera with LED flash and auto-focus, Bluetooth, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, and 1500 mAh Lilon battery.

LG Revolution
LG Revolution is rumored to come with Netflix and if it does, it will be the first phone to have that function. It will also be either the third or fourth Verizon device that will come equipped with the 4G LTE network. If you’re looking for a super fast phone and you’re an LG fan, then this is your phone! It will run on Android 2.2 Froyo.

Samsung Infuse 4G
The Infuse 4G from Samsung has a huge screen, 4.5-inches to be exact. But with its large screen comes a huge battery, speedy single core processor and fantastic camera (8MP rear camera with LED flash and auto-focus, 1.3MP front facing camera). It too will come on the Android 2.2 Froyo. And it can be yours at a projected price of $179.

Motorola Droid Bionic
Unfortunately, the Droid Bionic won’t look like the phone pictured above but it will be one of the devices from Verizon that will carry the 4G LTE network. It is said to give consumers a better experience and has improved form factor and functionality.

HTC Flyer
The Android-based tablet is set to have a summer 2011 release (June 7 to be exact). It comes equipped with a dual-core processor, 1GB Ram, 32GB onboard storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5MP camera and 1.3 MP front camera, and dual speakers that are just amazing. It also comes with a unique digital scribe that can only be used for the Flyer.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
The 10.1-inch tablet is touted to be sleek and slim. It runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb and now it is set for a June 8 release for a Wi-Fi release. After being criticized for its exorbitant prices, Samsung has lowered the prices to match those of the iPads.

HTC Salsa
I’m in the mood for dancing! Jokes aside, this phone will dance its way to a June 26th release. It will run on the Android with Sense but come equipped with a 3.4 inch display. It will have a 600MHzp Qualcomm processor and 512MB of RAM.

LG Optimus Black
The LG Optimus Black has been one of the most anticipated phones of the year. It will first make its debut in Europe, then slowly make its way around the world. It has a NOVA display, which makes the phone very bright, brighter than displays found in most laptop and smartphones. It will have a front-facing and rear cameras, though the MPs are not yet revealed.

All these Android-based phones are so awesome! I’m particularly interested in either the Samsung Galaxy S II or the LG Optimus Black.
