Vodafone has recently announced its plans to debut the Vodafone Smart, an entry-level Android phone aimed at the first-time smartphone user. Hoping to gain interest from the public, the company is focused on giving the phone appealing features and an innovative design, as well as an affordable price.
One of the most unique things about this phone is its ability for the user to have freedom with its look. Initially, you can pick up the Smart in a variety of colors, from brightly colored designs to something more subtle and monochrome. But buyers will also get the chance to personalize it a bit more with custom, graphic design covers being offered, whose stock will continuously change to reflect the style and essence of the current season.
Running on Android 2.2/Froyo, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth are included, among other features and pre-loaded applications mentioned in this sneak peek:
Pricing is not yet confirmed, though word is that it’ll be around €90 (about $128.79) possibly and can be paired with Vodafone’s pay as you go data plans. It will be released this summer, but sadly, only to countries in Europe for now.
