HTC’s newest tablet, the Puccini, has just allowed another recent hint about its performance to be dropped. We already learned it will be available at AT&T and be able to use the LTE network service, but it has now being rumored that the tablet will be powered by Qualcomm’s MSM8660 Snapdragon dual-core CPU.

The MSM8660 has been MIA for quite awhile now after facing some tough competition with NVIDIA’s Tegra 2. When more devices start to become powered by Qualcom, we will most likely come to see the release of the Tegra 3, creating newer competition to once again possibly overshadow the MSM8660. There have been sources saying that the MSM8660 puts the Tegra 2 to shame though so once the tablet is available to the public, we can all see for ourselves.

Another tablet, how are the masses supposed to choose from all of the tablet choices in an ever growing market? Wait to read more about the Puccini as more information is made available to the public.
