The Motorola Xoom, an Android-Honeycomb powered tablet had one major flaw that disappointed customers throughout the Verizon network. The Verizon 4G LTE service was not embed into the tablet making users unable to have access to it.
Verizon is working on the upgrade and it is said that Xoom owners will be able to send in their tablet and within 6 days have it back with the upgrade. A lot of people actually dislike this option because of the slow turn-around rate. All you really have to do to get the upgrade is open up the back of your tablet and switch the dummy card with the 4G LTE radio card. If the option of having this done at a Verizon store by a technician is available, it could take as little as 10 minutes for the upgrade.
Hopefully the rumors pointing to the second option are true. Finally, Xoom owners will be able to use the 4G LTE network service. It was originally suppose to be released in the summer but with everything floating around, the upgrade should be coming around very soon.

I’d rather do the second option since it’s easier.
