Verizon Wireless has recently announced a new software update, the ED2, for Samsung’s Droid Charge. This minor update fixes the problem of Samsung’s Media Hub, preventing it to download content over the 3G network. It will now only work over Wi-Fi or over the 4G network with a confirmation pop-up message informing the size of the file being downloaded.
This is probably not a good news to some users as not every area is covered by 4G network. Verizon, however, says that this update will assure quality and speed. You can download the 5.24 MB update which will take about 2-5 minutes on average and install it for about the same amount of time.
