Research In Motion (RIM) revealed that it will be launching a multi-platform Blackberry Enterprise Solution later this year. With security controls in the Android operating system, a system administrator can manage the security, permissions and management controls across multiple corporate devices all from the same console.
RIM basically does not care which platform is used, but still wants companies to use their enterprise software. You can now sign up for the software here. I think a multi-platform Blackberry Enterprise Solution would really be useful for larger companies in managing their systems.
