International countries will see Samsung’s Galaxy S on WiFi 4.0 and 5.0 before people in the U.S. will. The 4.0 version will making its first appearance in Russia, while WiFi 5.0 will grace Switzerland with its presence.
For those of you wondering, yes, the Galaxy S will still be shipped with Froyo and users will be able to upgrade to 2.3 Gingerbread if it’s released. For now, there is no word of when the U.S. version will be released.
