Acer had previously promised a 4.8-inch, 1024 x 480 tabletphone for a April release, and it looks like they’re going to keep that promise after all. The FCC recently laid eyes on radiation test reports for the Acer Iconia Smart. The North American version only has specific frequencies, so it looks like this will be for AT&T. The device has all the expected specs with a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor.
Everything looks ready and set to go, but it seems that Acer has yet to announce an official release date. After a long wait, I’m sure many are excited for the Iconia Smart release!
