Seems like Skype is done with its testing on Android and is just waiting for the green light from Verizon. After all, the two of them are partners and Skype wouldn’t go ahead and release something for the Android network without Verizon’s “a-ok”.

Verizon seems to be ironing out all the kinks that the Skype-software for Android has and wants to make sure that it’s safe enough so that users may enjoy it without any thoughts of hackers hacking into their information. If released, this would be great news for those who wish to have Skype functionality. And if you’ve waited this long for Skype, we’re pretty sure you won’t mind waiting for the improved security of the app.
