If you recently picked up the LG G2X at your local T-Mobile USA store, beware: reports about users experiencing random freezes or reboots from the handset are coming in. Currently, no solutions have been found as removing the battery, performing a soft reset, and performing a full-on hard reset has done nothing to resolve this issue.

This isn’t the first issue this device has had as it’s also had issues with screen bleeding affecting screen colors. These issues may stem from the fact that all phone companies are trying to come out with the latest and greatest and so do so without first checking for any issues with the phone itself since it is easy to first release a device, then update for bugs and issues.

Users, thankfully, have been able to exchange their defective devices for brand new ones. But if it’s a design issue, then the problem may still exist. If it’s just a software issue, then users will have to wait for software updates. Currently, it doesn’t affect every customer so tread cautiously.
