Yes, that’s right: you can get a Samsung Galaxy Tab for only $299! Sounds too good to be true, right? And if you thought that, you would be absolutely right. This deal comes from Australia. For Australians, it’s good. For all you international folks, it might be a little more complicated for you.

The Galaxy Tab has had to deal with competition from Honeycomb tablets and has not been selling well. As such, it’s needed to get some discounts. So both JB Hi-Fi and Telstra have offered discounts on its sites for the tablet. There is no contract required and you can use it on any carrier, thanks to an unlocked 3G mobile data radio.

The promotion will run until May 3.
