If you watch Smallville and have a keen eye for HTC devices, you may have noticed character Tess Mercer’s device, the white HTC Hero in this weeks episode. It was featured when character Lois Lane calling Mercer. This isn’t what caused a double take though but it was because the device was running on Windows Phone 7 rather than on Android 2.1 Eclair.

Those at Engadget are curious as to: “What OS is Superman running?” The site claims, “Screen Grabs chronicles the uses (and misuses) of real-world gadgets in today’s movies and TV. Send in your sightings (with screen grab!) to screengrabs at engadget dot com.”

Does anyone here ever watch Smallville?
