The Motorola XOOM is set to be carried on Sprint’s network but it doesn’t stop the company from trying to create a XOOM for everyone, regardless of tax bracket and economic background.

The FCC received a device named IHDT56ME1, which is supposedly a wireless tablet that supports GSM 850 and 1900 bands as well as the WCDMA of these bands. This would work hand-in-hand with AT&T’s 3G bands Stateside.

Looks interesting! I wonder what kind of device it will turn out to be!
