HTC lovers, do you like the iPhone but don’t want to pay exorbitant amounts for said phone? Well, never fear because the concept photos for the HTC New Eden are out and shockingly, it has the looks and design (somewhat) of an iPhone!

Coming up with original designs for a smartphone can be challenging, especially with all of the new phones coming out. It’s no wonder that some phones remind us of iPhones (maybe it’s because it’s such a popular phone). And for most users, looks are just as important as the specs and features of the phone. I mean, you would love to have that fast phone of yours but you don’t want it to look like as if it came from the prehistoric era, now would you? (I know I wouldn’t.)

Well, turns out that the New Eden Project unveiled a concept picture by name of HTC New Eden Concept 1. It shares some characteristic HTC design elements (it should, otherwise it wouldn’t be known as an HTC), but it also has some futuristic look as well. The phone gives off an iPhone vibe (done intentionally or not), so those who have seen it are racking their brains as to why it reminds them of an iPhone (personally…I don’t think it looks like an iPhone).

I do like the sleek design of the phone. It does remind me of the Thunderbolt. Oh wait, the Thunderbolt was designed by HTC. Right. Stay tuned as more concept photos will be released in the future.

It’s very shiny. The screen looks like the older version of the Iphone however there are symbols on the bottom. Thanks for sharing.


Doesn’t look much like an iphone to me. A lot of phones look similar nowadays


I don’t really like the design. All there phone-lookalikes aren’t going to persuade people to buy them.
