No news of the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer tablet had been listened until Best Buy reported on its release and the price of said tablet.

The tablet is listed for a mere $400 at Best Buy, which for a tablet is not pricey. However, it has not been made available for sale or pre-order and all you can do is ogle at the details and specs. The tablet has the following:

  • 10.1″ IPS display at 1280 x 800 pixel resolution topped with pure Gorilla Glass
  • excellent NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB flash storage inside
  • 1.2-megapixel webcam, 2x USB 2.0 along the sides, Bluetooth 2.1 inside, 802.11 b/g/n Wifi connection
  • weighs 2.2-lbs, .5-inches thick

    • It sounds nice! I just wish the webcam had a better MP resolution but oh well.
