It would just a matter of time for LG to announce the glasses-free 3D handset for the US, having unveiled the Optimus 3D at Mobile World Congress.

According to an official press release from AT&T, the phone will land on their network under the LG Thrill 4G name. No details were revealed concerning the release date and Pricing of the handset.

Optimus 3D’s dual core is retained in the Thrill 4G, with 1GHz CPU and 5MP dual-camera for 3D and HD picture, as well as video capture. And it will be launching simultaneously with Android 2.2.
