Back in January, Asus revealed their Eee Pad Transformer Android tablet with an expected April release date. Now, Asus has announced that the tablet will be released sooner and will hit Taiwan on March 25. The Android tablet has a 10.1 inch screen, Android 3.0 for the OS, and a dock that turns it into a netbook with a keyboard. The Eee Pad Transformer runs on NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, includes 1GB of DDR2 RAM, and has 16GB and 32GB storage versions.

It is unknown how well the software Asus has for allowing the keyboard to work with Android 3.0, but the tablet has an aimed price range of around $500 – $700. I’m glad the tablet will be released earlier than expected, rather than being postponed.
