We all want good deals on new crazes like tablets, and Verizon has just come out with yet another tantalizing offer. Verizon has waived it’s $35 activation fee for month to month plans on their Motorola Xoom and Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets. Many think it is to be fair considering the iPad 2, which is also under Verizon, has no activation fee.
To receive the waiver, you just have to simply buy either the Motorola Xoom or Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet with a month to month data plan. The plans start from as little as $20 a month for a 1GB plan, all the way up to $80 a month for a 10GB plan. If you go over on your usage for a 1GB or 2 GB plan, you will get an additional charge of $20 per GB. If you have the 3GB plan or larger, each GB you go over , you are only charged $10 a GB. I would recommend getting the 3GB or higher to save yourself that extra $10 you would have to shell out for overages.

The Motorola Xoom costs $599.99 with a new 2-year customer plan, but it is the first Android Tablet to run Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) OS. The Samsung Galaxy Tab recently underwent a nice price reduction and now goes for the reasonable price of $199.
Verizon is stepping up it’s game in the constantly growing battle of the tablets. I think it’s a pretty good deal and if I had the spare cash I would possibly try it out.
What do you guys think of the deal?
