You must remember the Samsung Galaxy S II, right? Well, it gas been tight-lipped about which US cellular carriers may offer it. However, the DFerderal Communications Commission could have a thought at the back of their minds.
Exynos 4210-toting Super AMOLED Plus smartphone took the FCC authorization database route, 850MHz and 1900MHz GSM frequencies in tow – and that’s the same as the one required for a gig at AT&T.
Expect the handset to arrive sooner than that. 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies are also being sported on the Galaxy S II, so there’s a clue as to how it will come with dual band 802-11 a/b/g/n WiFi.
Samsung had another phone hitting the FCC recently – the SGH-i708 dropped on by as well. 850/1900MHz GSM frequencies are featured on the world phone, as well as CDMA, EV-DO, and the standard Bluetooth and 2.4GHz WiFi.
