The picture above is not the tablet Asus is working on right now, but they are intending on making a tablet with a 3D display and quad-core processor. Hi-tech.mail.ru recently had a time to talk to the CEO of Asus Jerry Chen who revealed their intentions for this year.

The launch date has not been confirmed yet, but it’s probably going to be released sometime at the end of the year. And as for smartphones, they are in the process of working on Android-based smartphones!
