New York City’s mayor Michael Bloomberg has recently announced that QR codes will soon be put on all Department of Buildings permits in the city. New Yorkers will be able to get information instantly such as about construction work and more efficient access to government data.

It’s nice seeing how the government uses the advances in technology, isn’t it?
