With Twitter’s banning of UberMedia’s properties; Twidroyd, UberTwitter, and UberCurrent on Friday, Twidroyd users caused quite an uproar and panic. Both companies were quick to react with their statements on the matter. Twitter claimed that UberMedia’s apps were violating policies and trademarks, while UberMedia promised to release an update to fix the issues soon.

After the update, the app returned back to normal. However, it depends if Twitter’s engineers are satisfied or not when they return to work after the holiday.
