The Motorola Xoom can now be pre-ordered and in a number of ways, it’s a better buy over the iPad as has been mentioned before, but it has now been uncovered that unfortunately, there’s no Flash available. This will be a huge disappointment for those waiting to grab the device.
The news was reported by PC World, who also reminded us that Verizon’s advert has mentioned a Flash update during the spring. However, “Spring” could take as long as until May.
The tablet may be impressive in terms of Honeycomb and a 1GHz dual-core processor, but being pricier than the iPad AND coming with no Flash can’t really be the best start for such a device.
