With the new Motorola Xoom tablet being released today (February 17th), possible customers have been wondering about the price. It will be sold for $799 at Verizon Wireless while the Wi-Fi only version is priced at $600, give or take.
Motorola has been one of the last companies to hop on the wagon of releasing tablets but it is still expected to sell around 50 million units this year. While they’re competing with Apple for sales, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha said that adding Xoom software was also upgradeable. He also states that there will be a possibility of the company having their own application store.
Many people have been awaiting for the day the Xoom is out, and that day is finally here! These days Android products are so popular, the Xoom is sure to be added to the list of successful products!
