HTC have been on the ball with their announcement of their Facebook smartphones, but their new Android Gingerbread 7 inch touchscreen (1024 x 600 resolution) HTC Flyer tablet is also making the news.

There’s a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, the newest version of HTC Sense’s user interface, OnLive gaming, a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera and a rear facing 5 megapixel camera. You can also expect WiFi and HSPA+ connectivity. All this is run on a 4,000mAh battery.

What’s really quite interesting is that the tablet will come with a stylus, something we haven’t seen on tablets for quite a while now. No pricing has been confirmed, but the device will be released in the first two quarters of this year.
