Samsung and T-Mobile have been sucky at upgrading the original Vibrant to Froyo, and now they recently announced that they are preparing to release a newer version of the Samsung Vibrant called the Vibrant 4G. And of course, this newer version has what the original Vibrant is missing, Android 2.2 Froyo! In addition to this upgrade, it also has a front-facing camera and full HSPA+ connectivity (up to 21 Mbps).
This phone will have everything you need and more, and it will surpass other smartphones (such as the G2 and Mytouch 4G) because of its ability to download things at maximum speed of 21 Mbps. We don’t know when this will be released yet, so stayed tuned for more announcements!
This really makes me angry because I have the original Vibrant (got it recently), and Samsung and T-Mobile are not even bothering upgrading it to Froyo!
