It was only two months ago that Samsung announced that they wanted to sell of 10 million Galaxy S devices in 2010. The idea seemed almost laughable back then, but now it has come to light that a whopping 9.3 million units of the device have been sold, and it seems that Samsung are very close to their goal with only a week left in the year.

What’s more, Samsung reckon they will actually make their target of 10 million. The Korean electronics giant has surpassed the Apple iPhone’s sales of 1.8 million in the country with their winning Galaxy S. Congratulations to Samsung!
