With no contract, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab is purchasable from Best Buy for $499 on Verizon.
Once the $499, the buyer has these options:
$20/month for 1GB
$35/month for 3GB
$50/month for 5GB
$80/month for 8GB
The first month has to be completed and then the consumer can do what they like. Bare in mind a Verizon account has to be set up and activated in order for a purchase to be made.
