The AT&T Dell Streak users will get an Android 2.2 Froyo update as a late Christmas present, but those on O2 can get their hands of the update now, albeit there being a little frustration to getting there.

O2 tweeted earlier this week, “The update’s out today but there are alot of Streaks to do! It shouldn’t be long now, though.” However, the ride isn’t looking steady for the update as one user pronounced, “It’s available now but because of demand, you may need to try a few times to get it.”

The only advice that can be given with this update is to be patient.
