Kindle and Nook have already established themselves as part of Android apps a long time ago, but a new competition showed up. Sony Reader is jumping on the bandwagon by having its first Android app sometime next month.

Great news for them, but the problem is that it seems a bit late for them to join the competition. Android apps existed for a long time, and for them to join now sounds like a bad timing since they will have to compete with Kindle and Nook. I guess those who are fans of Sony Reader will be eager to get this app when it comes out!
