We were all waiting for the release date of the Motorola Droid 2 Global and we also heard a rumor of the device getting delayed, and suddenly Verizon just launched it in the weekend without any official announcement. However, it has now finally been announced on Verizon’s Facebook page. There wasn’t any official press release or event, but at least we heard something, right?

So, if you want this phone, grab your handset now!
