Having been leaked before, the HTC Merge may be announced by Verizon Wireless on November 18th, when a special event by HTC and Verizon Wireless set to “celebrate the launching of the HTC Droid Merge World-Phone” is to take place.
The Merge takes after the T-Mobile G2, boasting a sliding keyboard, a 800 MHz processor with 4 GB RAM as well as Android 2.2 Froyo and a HTC Sense 1.6 user interface. It is a worldwide device and so as well as supporting Verizon’s wirelss US network, will be able to roam amongst GSM/HSPA networks across the world.
