The Samsung Nexus S (or Nexus Two as we named it before) exists and there is the picture proof for you! However, at this current moment in time, you are able to look but you are not yet able to touch. The date for when you will be able to touch has not yet been released yet.

The Nexus S will run on Android 2.3 and a 1.2 GHz processor. The rumoured specifications, such as a 4 inch AMOLED display, 5 megapixel camera (as well as a front-facing camera), WiFi and Bluetooth seem to look likely. There are two possible versions apparently- one version with Android 2.3 and the other with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface (this version may be named Samsung Elite).

Engadget predict the model number to be GT-i9020. The device looks set to head for T-Mobile for its first stop before moving to the other carriers.

We do not yet have a release date for the smartphone- although it was supposed to be released on November 8th, hardware issues delayed its released and with no confirmations about Android 2.3 from Google, we may still be waiting a while yet for Samsung’s device.
