Motorola has recently announced to launch the Droid X in Mexico sometime later this month, thus it will be the country’s first smartphone with Android 2.2 Froyo. The phone will be called Motoroi X, as the original Droid (Milestone) is called Motoroi there.
The device will basically have the same features as Verizon’s Droid X, such as a 4.3-inch touchscreen, 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and HD video recording, HDMI, MotoBlur, Wi-Fi, etc.
There are no more price details yet, but the Motoroi X will be available via lusacell, Mexico’s third largest mobile carrier which is also the only one with CDMA/GSM network.
