Japanese mobile operator NTT DOCOMO are releasing a hoard of 28 new mobile phones on their network. Out of this range, three will be powered on Android. There are plenty of shiny hardware specifications to gawp over.

The LG Optimus chat L-04C (available in White Silver) boasts a QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera and includes a 2GB microSD card slot. When it comes out in February 2011, the device will run on Android 2.2.

The Toshiba REGZA phone T-01C (available in Moist Black or Mellow Bordeaux) sports an impressive 12 megapixel camera and also includes a 32GB microSD card- plenty to get you started on the device which will initially be released with Android 2.1 but it is rumoured than an upgrade to Android 2.2 will be available in Spring 2011. The device supports NTT DOCOMO’s mobile wallet.

Thirdly, the LYNX 3D SH-03C (available in Pure White, Fairy Blue, and Ink Black) features a 3.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 9 megapixel camera and a 2GB microSD card slot included. Expect Android 2.1 with this device, which is also compatible with NTT DOCOMO’s mobile wallet.
