Facebook has recently updated its app for Android, which now features Facebook Places and also Groups. Basically like foursquare, Facebook Places lets users to check-in or see friends’ locations. Facebook is also working with Groupon, The Palms Casino, and other partners who will uses Places to offer deals and incentives to customers.

Users are now able to see photos, notifications such as comments and other updates within the app, which is a lot easier than getting linked to the Touch website. With these new features, users don’t need to use the browser anymore. The next update should be to add chat feature and tagging friends, don’t you agree?
