Three new smartphones all sporting the latest Android 2.2 came out in one day, ranging from an entry level smartphone to a high-end smartphone: the LG Optimus T, Huawei Comet (which is being offered for free on contract) and HTC myTouch 4G.

The HTC myTouch 4G is $199 on contract and may carry a retail price of $449. There are a variety of colours to choose from: red, black, plum and white and supports T-Mobile’s 4G network that gives speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps. This HTC is the fastest to date as it runs on Qualcomm’s new second-generation 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU as well as the Adreno 205 GPU.

The Huawei Comet will be offered for free on contract and has a suggested retail price of $199. The device runs on a 528 MHz processor, sports a 3.2 megapixel camera and has a 2.8 inch QVGA screen display.

Being offered for free at Tmobile.com is the LG Optimus T, running on a 600 MHz CPU and sporting a 3 megapixel camera, FM radio and a 3.2 inch HVGA display. In other words, a fairly-priced, decent Anrdroid mobile.

The Android and Me mobile store contains competitive prices for those of you searching for a new Android out there.
