The Samsung Galaxy S and Apple iPhone- two phones that will no doubt hit the list for the top phones of this year. The Samsung Galaxy S is available on all four of the biggest US carriers, but the States is not the only place the device has proved popular.
Japan has seen a large demand for the Android smartphone, but that is not the line of this story. The device is outselling Apple’s iPhone 4 in the Asian country, but this is not even the most impressive bit. When was the Galaxy S released? October 28th.
That means that the Galaxy S is already outselling the iPhone (which has been in Japan for longer) in its first week of release. Can you hear Android sniggering, “Take that, Apple”?
