Next in line in Samsung’s range comes the Nexus Two. We do not yet know whether or not this is the name that is going to be used for this device, but it is being rumoured as this seems to be the success of the Nexus One. Coming on November 8th, the smartphone will operatte on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, immediately making it a highly-anticpated device that will have the spotlight when it comes into market.

The smartphone is a full touchscreen with a sleeky curved black back. The exterior of the smartphone is made of a mix of plastic and metal material. With a front-facing camera, fingers crossed that Gingerbread will enable video calling, as we know that Google have been working on creating a video chat feature.

AndroidandMe blogger Taylor Kimberley has put together a list of specifications. Samsung Nexus Two will boast a 1.2GHz microprocessor, 4 inch AMOLED display (possibly super-AMOLED), 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and HD video capture, 512 MB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The phone will be able to run on multiple carriers and contains what you would expect in terms of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 3.5 mm headset jack.

So far, it sounds as if Google and Samsung are collaborating to create one of the most impressive phones on the market right now. One example of one already-successful collaboration is the Galaxy S. The reason why Google have chosen Samsung is because Samsung are the main ones when it comes to making smartphone CPU and GPU chips.

Remember that these are not yet confirmed specifications, but we will not have to wait long until we see the real thing.
