Synapse, a phone company based in Germany, is now offering customizable phones which will run Android 2.2. With the price starting at €299 (around $410), you get the Synapse One with its basic specs such as 1GHz processor, 4-inch SuperAMOLED multi-touch screen and AGPS. Then you can customize your own phone, selecting the hardware you want, including WiFi, camera, Bluetooth, radio, memory capacity, and more.
I think it doesn’t sound bad, as sometimes it’s hard to get the perfect handset with the right specs. This phone lets you have the hardware you really want or need. The shipping starts in the middle of Q1 next year, but you can order one now on its website. The server seems to be having a problem though and it might take a few tries to gain access. I almost gave up when the page finally loaded. If you still can’t access the site, check out this screenshot to see what options this phone has to offer.
What do you think?
