The portal for HTCSense.com opened recently and HTC users can now opt to register for the website. In doing so, users will be able to “control, back up and manage” any Desire HD or Desire Z (to be available in late October) devices that they own. The handsets use Android 2.2 meaning that the handsets will be able to support all of the features available from the website.

So what will HTCSense.com offer its users? For starters, text messages can be both sent and recieved with no charge via the website. Call diversions can be created and the handsets can be set to ring in its loudest mode even when set to silent. Handsets can be locked, the memory of the phone can be wiped clean and all data can be synchronised to a new device. As well as all this, handsets can be registered for warranty, the HTC Sense newsletter can be subscribed to and ringtones and wallpapers for the handset’s use can be downloaded.

Has the description got your appetite going for a stroll throught the HTCSense.com website?
