Talk To Me is one of the most useful language translator apps that I’m sure you would want to take along on your travels — especially one where you don’t speak the native language very well. With this, you don’t really even need to know the language at all! This app has the ability to take the English phrase that you want to say, translate it into your desired language, and then read it aloud to you.

The only bad point is that it is limited right now to certain languages - Spanish, French, German, Italian and UK or USA English. But I can imagine that a few more updates will add more, since it is amazingly useful.

I’m pretty sure the iPhone has something very similar to this that I’ve seen on a commercial before… Theirs can do it in Chinese, too!
