Many sources hoped to have the HTC Desire HD and Desire Z in their palms by early October (Vodafone had mentioned a shipping date of the 15th), but now a two-week delay is the latest news regarding these two highly-anticipated models.
The two smartphones can now be expected in late October. The reason? Android Police announced that neither phone passed the Google “type approval” testing so will therefore need some repairing before making their way to the market.
After this irritating news blows over, expect a 4.3 inch LCD display, a 1GHz processor, and an 8 megapixel camera with dual flash with 720p HD recording from the Desire HD and 3.7 inch display, an 800MHz processor, a sliding Qwerty keyboard and a 5 megapixel camera is also capable of 720p recording from the Desire Z.
