Theft Aware is an app that helps you in case your mobile phone gets stolen. You can register up to two notification numbers so the app will send you a notification SMS to that number. Don’t worry, this app is invisible so it doesn’t leave any trace on the mobile phone — the thief won’t even know about it. If the thief changes the SIM card, you will get the location and the new phone number of the thief so you will always be able to track your phone.

After the free trial, Theft Aware costs €9.99, but it’s a one time payment and lets you feel secure. Theft is really a big problem, as you not only lose your valuable phone, but all your contacts and other important data saved on the phone. This app doesn’t only support Android phones, but also Nokia’s Symbian OS.
