-The new Samsung Galaxy Tab that’s been all the buzz throughout the internet community will most likely be coming to Verizon and AT&T. Durf, how expected.

-HTC’s tagline is, surprisingly, “quietly brilliant,” but they sure are making a bam in the mobile industry. To add onto this monster resume, HTC is apparently trying to branch out with its new Sense.

HTC has just announced their release for the Desire Z and Desire HD Android phones. For now, this news is more so aimed at Europe and Asia, where the phones will be available starting October. But the only peculiar thing about these two phones is that they seem to be very similar to the US versions of the Evo and the T-Mobile G2 Googlephone, just renamed into the Desire Z and HD. More »


HTC is planning to put out a tablet in early 2011 with the newest and not yet released Android operating system, 3.0? Well, according to Taiwanese component makers this is true. So what will the update be called this time? We go from Froyo to Gingerbread, yummy. You know, it’s so fast, “You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread man.” I think that could work. More »


There have been hints all along that Verizon would be the one to stock the Samsung Galaxy Tab, but we now get a pretty good image confirmation that it really will be true. More »


Just now Verizon is offering the Motorola Devour for free with a two-year service agreement. Being the only Verizon device that features Motoblur software, the Devour is especially made for social networking. It has a 3.1-inch touchscreen and a 3.0-megapixel camera. More »


Recently HTC revealed some more details on specs of T-Mobile G2 smartphone. It is now known that it will run Android 2.2 OS and supports Qualcomm’s 800 Mhz MSM7230 processor. It has 512 MB RAM, 4 GB ROM, GPS/aGPS and a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. More »


-Apparently Adobe Flash 10.1 has some major flaws, so users be warned (and maybe you might want to disable it at the same time). On the other hand, Adobe’s promising to fix it soon, so stay tuned.

-Android’s mobile browser, which is Skyfire in case you didn’t know, just topped 1 million downloads from the Android market. Hip, hip, hooray and woopdidoo.

-In a sad turn of events, T-Mobile just announced that UMA support might no longer be coming to Android. More »


In one word, AppBrain is all about efficiency. Although HTC users can argue that the whole point of their phone is so that they don’t need a computer, AppBrain begs to differ. More »


Acer plans on releasing their newest phone come October of this year, called Liquid Metal. Though this looks both slim and stylish, I think it is going to have a hard time competing with all the other smartphones out there. This phone will also be running off of Android 2.2 OS. More »
