Today’s App of the Day features none-other than the music-identifying Shazam. Bada bing, bada boom, need a song? Use Shazam! For those of you who aren’t familiar with the magic that is this application, it’s your all-in-one music identifier. Let your phone listen to the song playing in your radio and it’ll instantly search and let you know which song it is. Additionally, Shazam also opens you up to a wealth of information, from artist bios to related songs to social networks, think of it as the original iTunes Ping (kind of).
However, the one downside to Shazam is that not every song is searchable. Sure if you heard Charice’s Pyramid and Shazam-ed it, you’d probably get results, but Narsha’s Mamma Mia? Doubtful.
