A long list of issues of the Samsung Fascinate has been leaked at BoyGeniusReport.com. This latest Galaxy S phone was just launched at Verizon stores this week and its start doesn’t seem to be too fascinating, does it? The list is full with some minor bugs, but also some annoying ones.
To name a few, there are some problems with the bluetooth, calendar, call waiting caller ID, display, e-mail, etc. The annoying ones are, for example, blank screen issues and call disconnects. I can’t even name all of the issues, because the list is just too long. Here’s a short snippet of the list.
Backlight Timeout:
When on a call using Bluetooth and the backlight times out you have to unlock the screen to end the call.Alert Notifications:
There is no option to change the Calendar alert notification.Blank Screen:
If you are on a call and a second call comes in, you get the correct Caller ID information. If you answer the second call, the caller ID screen goes blank and does not show any caller information.Soft Key Backlight:
The backlight on the 4 bottom buttons (menu, home, back, and search) only stay on for 5 seconds. These do not correspond with screen timeout settings. No Message Delete Status:
When deleting e-mails there is no status indication that this is taking place so users may feel that the device is locked up when it is just actively deleting e-mails.
If you considered buying this phone, you might want to check out the full list of these issues. Does this change your mind?
